Definition of Buttons  (Below is a diagram of the buttons behind plastic cover)

MODE BUTTON:   Push and  release to change the mode of the timer.  The current mode can be read along the top of the display.

·        CLK mode: To set or change the current time and day.

·        PGM mode:           To set, review or change programmed ON/OFF times.

·        AUTO mode:         Automatic timer will control lights.  Manual override will work until next program time setting.

·        AUTO RAND mode:        Automatic timer will control lights  with random offsets of  up to 15 minutes.  Manual override will work until next program timer setting.

·        MAN mode:          Only manual switching will work.  Any programmed times will stay in memory but will not be active.

 

NEXT/ON/OFF EVENT BUTTON: Function depends on mode.

·        CLK mode:            Button does nothing

·        PRG Mode:           Button sets what will happen at the programmed time.

·        All Other  Modes: Manually turns lights on or off.  (Pressing the clear window actually presses this button.)

 

RESET BUTTON:  Recessed to prevent accidental use, use this to erase all programs.  Press while holding down NEXT/ON/OFF button to clear all previous programming.

 

DAY/DST BUTTON:  Has 3 functions, depending on the mode:

CLK mode:      Push and release to cycle through the days of the week to set the current day.

PGM mode:     Push and release to cycle through all programming options.  (Individual days, all weekdays, all week-end days.  Note:  The day button must be set before doing the hours and minutes.  If reprogramming, be sure to set the day button even if only resetting the times.

DST:                Press to select automatic or manual Daylight Savings Time.

 

H+ BUTTON:                Push and release to cycle forward through the hours of the day.  Be sure AM and PM setting is correct.  It does not go backwards.  Note:  The day button must be set before doing the hours and minutes.  If reprogramming, be sure to set the day button even if only resetting the times.

M+ BUTTON:               Push and release to cycle forward through the minutes.  It does not go backwards.

How to set or change the clock:

1.      Remove the clear cover/switch.

2.      Push and release MODE button until CAL (calendar) is displayed.

3.      Push and release the ‘YEAR +’  or ‘YEARr –‘ button to display the correct year.

4.      Press ‘NEXT’ button.  Display will flash ‘DATE’

5.      Use the M+ and DAY buttons to select the current date.

Note:  The day button must be set before doing the hours and minutes.  If reprogramming, be sure to set the day button even if only resetting the times.

6.      Press ‘NEXT’ button. Display will alternate between ‘DST’ and ‘AUTO’ or between ‘DST’ and ‘MAN’. 

7.      Press DST button to alternate between automatic Daylight Savings Time and Manual.

DST will automatically change the clock twice a year.  During Auto is selected, a small ‘d’ will show in the clock during the other modes.

8.      Press ‘NEXT’.  Display will alternate between ‘ZONE’ and ‘CENTR’  Use the ‘ZONE +’ button to select ‘North’, CENTR’ or ‘SOUTH.

9.      Press ‘NEXT’.  ‘SUNUP’ and an AM time will show.  If desired you can change the calculated Sunup time with the ‘H +’ and ‘M +’ buttons.

10.  Press ‘NEXT’.  ‘SNSET’ will and a PM time will show.

11.  Press ‘NEXT’ to accept the settings.

12.  Replace clear plastic cover.

 

How to set or change the clock:

 

1.      Remove clear plastic cover

2.      Press the MODE button until ‘CLK’ is displayed.

3.      Push and release H+ until the correct hour and AM/PM are correct.

4.      Push and release M+ button until the minutes are correct.

5.      Push and release MODE button to choose AUTO, AUTO RAND or MAN.

6.      Replace clear cover.

7.      Push and release clear cover/switch to switch lights ON or OFF if desired.

 

 

How to set, change or review ON/OFF timers:

1.      Remove clear cover/switch.

2.      Push and release MODE button until PGM is displayed.

3.      Push and release DAY button until desired day or group of days is displayed (usually all 7 days).

4.      Push and release H+ button until the desired hour and AM/PM is displayed for the event (On or OFF) to happen.

5.      Push and release M+ until desired minutes are displayed.

6.      Push and release  ON/OFF/EVENT button to choose the next event to set or change.

7.      Push and release MODE button to choose AUTO, AUTO RANDom, or MANual operation.

8.        Replace clear cover.
